Directly in front of the hotel is the bus stop “Favorite Parkhotel”. Here the lines 60 and 61 in the “Zehnminutaktakt” drive towards the city center. Within 10 minutes you are then at the stop “Höfchen / Listmann”, from where you have all the possibilities to explore the city center of Mainz. The old town invites you to linger with many small wine taverns and also the cathedral one must have seen. The weekly market, which takes place every Saturday morning on the big market square at the cathedral, is also worth a visit.
The main railway station is also within a 15-minute drive of lines 60 and 61. From there you have many possibilities to visit the neighboring cities of Mainz. With the S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 you can easily go to Frankfurt to enter the Zeil on an extensive shopping day.
